History of NET, Inc.
NET was founded in 2012 by owner and CEO Laquita Nelson as a private consulting venture to assess, plan, and implement a complete overhaul of existing systems for state and commercial customers. This endeavor led quickly to another project requiring the assessment of network security.

Soon the company expanded into government contracting and was awarded a prime federal contract to provide data analytics and database development. Other government contracts followed, including a research project for the CDC in evaluating an array of state and federal health-related systems. NET currently supports the Missile Space Intelligence Center (MSIC) in financial analytics of contracts as it continues to grow into the support of larger and more complex contracts in areas such as information technology, system engineering, networking, and training.
About the Owner/CEO
Laquita Nelson brings a broad range of lengthy experience to the fore at NET. In fields as diverse as education, information technology, and systems administration, her background reflects steady growth from computer programming, system administration, through project management. She has experience in developing networks and large systems for financial management, human resources, budgeting, and business planning. Ms. Nelson has proven herself capable of successfully managing large and small projects and leading people, while maintaining a laudable commitment to community service.
